2014 S.O.B. Meeting – A Message from Maureen Ambrose

Hi all.

Marshall, Rob, and I are looking forward to hosting the SOB meeting in Orlando this fall.  Hopefully, you already have this on your calendar.  In case you have not yet made reservations, here is the information again about the meeting.

Dates:  Oct. 31-Nov. 2

We’ll be hosting the meeting at our Executive Development Center in downtown Orlando.

We’ve arranged for a block of rooms at the Embassy Suites Hotel.  The rate is $139.  You can reserve a room either by following this link: http://embassysuites.hilton.com/en/es/groups/personalized/M/MCODTES-UCF-20141028/index.jhtml?WT.mc_id=POG

or you can call the hotel at  407-835-6849 and ask for the UCF rate to book over the phone.  The hotel will hold the rooms at this rate until Oct. 1st, so please book by Oct 1.

Marshall and I will be hosting a reception/dinner at our house on Friday night.  Our house is less than a mile from the hotel and an easy walk–there will be directions in your “check-in” package at the hotel.  There will also be a shuttle available to take you to our house.  The meetings typically wraps up around noon on Sunday.

I’ve cc’d Jana Breburdova on this message.  Jana is our Associate Director Executive & Professional Development Programs and will be managing the on-site logistics for the SOB meeting.  If you will be attending, please drop Jana an email so we’ll have an accurate head count. If you have any questions about the hotel or Orlando, you can also contact Jana.

Look forward to seeing you in Orlando.

Maureen

    Hi Colleagues,
The annual meeting in Orlando was most edifying and educational. Our respected colleagues at the University of Central Florida put on a delightful happening. Friday night’s Halloween dinner was most enjoyable and the hotel and meeting facilities were outstanding. As usual, the program challenged our thinking with new ideas. I wish to thank both the hosts and the participants on a memorable event. Thank you very much.
    Peace,
